Submission

The RAP provides access to a large number of pathological specimens accumulated from a variety of sources around the world. We are continually adding accessions and welcome new submissions.

If you would like to submit a sample to the registry please contact us.

We request that as much information as possible is submitted along with samples to enable full descriptions.Where available wax blocks, histological sections, images and sample details are to be submitted. Please contact us to receive a submission form to submit with your material.

All specimens and materials that have been donated for inclusion in the RAP will, upon receipt, become the property of the RAP and Cefas and are crown copyright. It is the responsibility of the contributor to ensure that there are no copyright or other ownership restrictions on submitted materials. The RAP reserves the right to decline to add specimens to the collection where they are considered to have limited scientific value (for example poorly preserved material).

It is assumed that a contributor who donates specimens or materials to the RAP gives permission to Cefas to publish his/her name, title and professional or institutional affiliation, unless confidentiality is requested by the contributor and agreed by the RAP in advance. Contributor contact information such as email addresses, telephone numbers will not be published or otherwise revealed to the public unless specifically authorised by the contributor.
